St Joseph's Church along Victoria Street is one of Singapore's most architecturally impressive Catholic churches. Built between 1906 and 1912 in the Neo-Gothic style, it's a National Monument and holds one of the largest collections of religious stained glass in Singapore. The ornate interior, the soaring ceilings, and the sheer grandeur of the space make it a really stunning setting for a wedding ceremony. After years of restoration, the church reopened in 2022 and is looking beautifully restored.

The church interior is extraordinary for photography, with the stained glass windows casting beautiful coloured light throughout the space. The exterior facade along Victoria Street is also very photogenic. The surrounding Bras Basah and Civic District area has plenty of interesting spots nearby for couple portraits.

The interior here is genuinely stunning. The scale of the space, the ornate details, and the stained glass all give the ceremony shots a really grand, timeless quality. It's one of those churches where we consistently come away with images we're really proud of. The surrounding Civic District gives us good portrait options after the ceremony too.
