A Full Circle Love Story

Wei Ting and Ru Jia’s story goes all the way back to National Day Parade, when they first met as kids. He wanted to ask for her number then, but life took its own path, and they only reconnected years later by chance, which eventually led them here.

Their wedding at Fullerton Hotel Singapore and Riverhouse Singapore started with a morning surrounded by close family and friends as everything slowly came together.

The gatecrash outside Fullerton Hotel, organised by the bridesmaids, kicked things off in a very playful way, with the groom and groomsmen going through games including jumping jacks on an acupuncture mat. It already had that slightly unhinged morning energy in the best way, everyone was fully in it, laughing, shouting, just going along with whatever was thrown at them.

After the bridal pickup at Fullerton Hotel, we moved into the Civic District and Cavenagh Bridge area for a short couple and bridal party photoshoot, just the couple with their people around them, moving through the city in a very natural way.

The solemnisation at Riverhouse Singapore felt like a celebration of their story coming full circle, with both families gathered by the river witnessing their vows and everything that had led them back to each other.

Dinner continued with speeches, games, and a very engaged crowd. It slowly turned into that kind of wedding dinner where things get a bit unhinged in the best way- people reacting loudly, teasing each other during speeches, laughing nonstop, and everyone very clearly just there to have a good time together.
