Garden Celebration & Meaningful Moments
Hankit and Sherri’s wedding at METT Singapore started with a house filled with warmth and excitement.
Family and friends were already gathered early in the morning, getting ready for the gatecrash and helping wherever they could. The bridesmaids were busy preparing the games while family members joined in with plenty of joking around and laughter. There was a really fun sense of everyone being involved and excited to celebrate the couple.
The gatecrash itself was definitely one to remember. The guys showed up in a rather questionable choice of shorts, printed with thongs and hairy butts, before going through a series of games prepared by the bridesmaids. It was ridiculous, hilarious, and very much in keeping with the fun atmosphere of the morning.
We then headed to METT Singapore for photos with the couple, their friends and their golden retriever, Comet. With the G-Wagen Mercedes, the beautiful colonial architecture and the people closest to them around, there were plenty of elements that made the photos feel very much like them.
It was a particularly hot morning, but I was honestly touched that nobody complained about the heat. Everyone stayed around to celebrate Hankit and Sherri during their garden solemnisation, and there was something really lovely about seeing their family and friends simply being there for them despite the weather.
Lunch continued with their loved ones gathered around them, with touching speeches and heartfelt interactions throughout the banquet. You could really tell that Hankit and Sherri are surrounded by people who genuinely root for them, and who have also been there for their parents and families along the way.
Looking back at Hankit and Sherri’s METT Singapore wedding, what stays with me most is how much warmth there was throughout the day. From the chaos and laughter of the gatecrash to the beautiful garden solemnisation and the heartfelt moments over lunch, it was a celebration surrounded by people who clearly love and support them. I’m really grateful to have been there to document not just the couple, but also the people who make their lives so full.
