Daphne & Benjamin
Church of Our Saviour & Sheraton Towers Hotel Wedding Photography Singapore
From Pre-Wedding to Wedding Day, Ending the Day With a Dance Floor Full of Friends
Having photographed Daphne and Benjamin's pre-wedding session, it felt especially meaningful to be there with them again on their wedding day. Over time, we had built a friendship over the same faith, so the day felt less like photographing clients and more like celebrating alongside friends.
The morning started with preparations and a gatecrash that brought plenty of laughter. The groomsmen and brothers came dressed in inflatable chicken costumes for the games and dance challenges, which definitely set the tone for a fun and energetic day before Benjamin finally got to fetch his bride.
The solemnisation at Church of Our Saviour was heartfelt and meaningful. Afterwards, we spent a short while taking photos around a grassy area near the church. There wasn't anything particularly elaborate about the location, but sometimes it's the people and the moments that matter more than the backdrop, and the two of them made the most ordinary spots feel special.
After the tea ceremony at Sheraton Towers, family and friends gathered again for dinner. One of the highlights of the evening was the disco-themed second march-in. What started as a fun entrance quickly turned into a full flashmob, with friends joining in, dancing together and eventually forming a human chain across the ballroom.
Watching everyone celebrate together, you could really see the friendships that Daphne and Benjamin had built over the years. There was so much energy, laughter and team spirit throughout the evening, and it felt like everyone was genuinely having the time of their lives.

Looking back at Daphne and Benjamin's wedding, I'm reminded that weddings are often a reflection of the people around us. From the laughter during the gatecrash to the heartfelt moments in church and the dance floor celebrations later in the evening, it was a joy to witness and document. I'm thankful to have been entrusted with these memories, and even more grateful that the day felt like celebrating with friends rather than simply showing up for work.
