The Westin Wedding Photography Singapore

Love Since the Dinosaur Age

Glacier and Marcus' wedding at The Westin Singapore was one of those weddings that still makes me laugh whenever I look back at the photos.

The day started with the bridal pickup and gatecrash, where the groom and groomsmen fully committed to the fun, even dancing around in little tutu skirts. Nobody held back, which pretty much set the tone for everything that followed.

After the tea ceremony, we headed to Canterbury Road for photos with the couple and bridal party. Two inflatable dinosaurs made their appearance, and somehow we ended up with photos of dinosaurs chasing the bridal party. Looking back at those images still brings a smile to my face.

The solemnisation at The Westin Singapore brought a different side to the day. Set against the clean white space overlooking the city, it was a beautiful moment witnessing the couple surrounded by the people who love them most.

Dinner carried the same joyful spirit. Games, laughter and plenty of cheering filled the ballroom, but the second march-in was probably something none of us will forget anytime soon. What started with two dinosaurs somehow evolved into more than eight dinosaurs accompanying the couple as they marched in with money guns shooting fake cash into the air. By then, everyone had completely embraced the chaos. It was ridiculous, hilarious, and honestly one of the most unforgettable entrances I've ever photographed.

Yet beneath all the dinosaurs and madness were heartfelt speeches by the best man, maid of honour, and the couple themselves. Those moments reminded me that behind all the laughter was a couple deeply loved by the people around them. Seeing everyone gather for photos afterwards, I couldn't help but feel thankful to witness friendships and relationships like these, where people are willing to go all out in celebrating those they care about.

Looking back at Glacier and Marcus' wedding photography at The Westin Singapore, the images reflect exactly who they are — joyful, fun-loving, and surrounded by a community that clearly adores them. I imagine many years from now, people may forget parts of the menu or decorations, but nobody is forgetting the dinosaurs.
