RiverLife Church has a modern, auditorium-style sanctuary that offers a very different look from a traditional church wedding. With its contemporary interior and dramatic lighting, it can create a more atmospheric and cinematic setting for wedding photography and videography, especially when the lighting is used to set the mood during the ceremony.
Wedding Photo Spots at RiverLife Church & Nearby
There is not a huge variety of portrait locations within the church itself, so most of the visual variety comes from the sanctuary and the way we work with its lighting and spacious interior.
For portraits and couple photographs outside the church, Pasir Ris Park is nearby and offers more natural surroundings, including tall palm trees, greenery and the coastline. The beach and shoreline can also provide a completely different setting from the modern church interior.
Our Experience Shooting Weddings at RiverLife Church
The sanctuary at RiverLife Church is wide and spacious, which gives us plenty of room to move around and photograph the ceremony from different angles without being restricted to a single position.
At the same time, the size of the space means that we can sometimes be quite far from the couple and their guests. A longer lens is especially useful here, allowing us to capture intimate reactions and smaller interactions without needing to move close to the couple or interrupt the ceremony.
The modern auditorium setting also gives us opportunities to work with the dramatic lighting to create photographs and films with more depth and atmosphere, particularly during key moments of the service.
