Oasia Downtown Singapore Wedding Photography & Videography
Oasia Hotel Downtown is a striking vertical garden building along Peck Seah Street in Tanjong Pagar, right by the MRT. For weddings, the hotel offers the intimate Retreat Room surrounded by greenery and the outdoor Sky Terrace. It has a resort-like quality despite being right in the middle of the CBD, which gives it a really pleasant, relaxed atmosphere that's a bit different from the typical city hotel. A good fit for couples who want something intimate and convenient without the formality of a grand ballroom.
Wedding Photo Spots at Oasia Downtown & Nearby
The area around Tanjong Pagar is actually really rich for portrait spots. The rooftop carpark nearby gives a great CBD skyline backdrop. The Tanjong Pagar HDB blocks have a vintage heartland character that works really nicely for something more nostalgic. The small field beside the hotel near Guoco Tower frames the Oasia building beautifully as a backdrop. Tanjong Pagar MRT also has a staircase area with interesting shapes and lines worth using. Do note that afternoon solemnisations on the Sky Terrace can be backlit so timing is something to consider.
Our Experience Shooting Weddings at Oasia Downtown
Oasia Downtown has a chill, resort-like feel that makes it a really pleasant venue to spend the day at, which is a bit unexpected given how central it is. Weddings here are small and intimate and that relaxed energy comes through nicely in the photos. The surrounding Tanjong Pagar area is one of our favourite neighbourhoods for portraits and there's genuinely a lot to work with just outside the hotel.
