The front garden and grounds of Min Jiang are genuinely lovely for portraits. The lush greenery, arching trees, and colonial facade give you a really beautiful natural setting right outside the restaurant. The rest of Dempsey Hill is also worth exploring as there are plenty of quiet, green pockets nearby. The interior of the restaurant has its own warm character too, with areas that work well for moodier, more atmospheric portraits.
Our Experience Shooting Weddings at Min Jiang Dempsey
Min Jiang Dempsey is one of our favourite venues to shoot at. The front garden gives us a really beautiful natural setting for couple portraits and the colonial building adds a lot of character to the photos. Inside, the chinoiserie interiors and warm ambient lighting photograph nicely for reception shots. Weddings here tend to be relaxed and intimate, and the Dempsey Hill setting gives the whole day a really pleasant, unhurried feel.
