Tucked away in the Seletar countryside near the old Seletar Airport, Botanico at The Summerhouse is one of those venues that feels like a world away from the city. Set in a beautifully restored colonial bungalow with lush garden grounds, it has a relaxed, romantic charm that's hard to find elsewhere in Singapore. It's a great fit for couples who love greenery, natural light, and a more laid-back, nature-inspired celebration.
Wedding Photo Spots at Botanico at The Summerhouse & Nearby
The grounds here are genuinely beautiful to work with. The garden gazebo, courtyard, and the old bungalow facade all make for really lovely backdrops. Inside, the upper floor dining hall has a mirrored ceiling and generous natural light that photographs really well. At night, there's a gorgeous tree with hanging lights just beside the restaurant that creates a really romantic, warm atmosphere for evening portraits. The boardwalk and playground area nearby are also surprisingly lovely to photograph at, with a relaxed and playful character that couples really enjoy.
Our Experience Shooting Weddings at Botanico at The Summerhouse
This is one of our favourite venues to shoot at. The variety of spaces means we always have something interesting to work with, whether it's the gardens, the bungalow interiors, or the open courtyard. Natural light is generous here, especially during the day, which makes a real difference. The evening sessions around the hanging lights tree are something we always look forward to. Weddings here tend to be warm and unhurried, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere that brings out the best moments.
