We especially like this location around sunrise, when the early light comes across the reservoir and the grass. The mist can sometimes sit over the water, adding depth to wider photographs. Placing trees in the foreground also helps create layers in the image and gives the photographs a more secluded, atmospheric feel.
The grass hill is useful for wider compositions and photographs of the couple walking or moving through the space. Along the top of the hill, the long stretch of road can also be incorporated for a different look, giving the photographs a sense of direction and scale.
